Words and Phrases About Science That No Longer Phase Me

I was thinking about the language of science/arts divide this morning, which got me thinking about the language of science, which naturally led to thinking about upcoming inspection by the campus radiation officers, which worked itself into words and phrases about science that no longer phase me (but I wish still did).  For example:

  • Do you use any drugs in this lab?
  • Where do you keep your used, dirty needles?
  • Have you had any radioactive contaminations?
  • Oh, I found your acid!
