Want to help the climate movement. Join Common Energy.

Their mission: To bring UBC beyond climate neutral. In other words, believe that the UBC community of students, faculty and staff should work together to reduce our climate footprint AND create solutions for a climate-neutral future. Common Energy envisions a campus that does more to solve the climate crisis than it does to cause it.

Common Energy is a student-led organization open to all backgrounds and skill levels. They are completely student run, and rely on the energy of volunteers to make our vision a reality. No matter what you can give, they need your help.

Common Energy has a proven history of success and are ready for another exciting year. Lined up for this year is the third Teach-in, the goBEYOND Challenge, as well as increasing efforts to improve climate education at UBC, reduce campus waste, foster climate dialogue and much much more.

Common Energy will host info sessions on Monday, September 14 and Tuesday, September 15 from 6-7 pm in IKB 422.  Come out to either session or contact commonenergyubc@gmail.com to get involved!
