The Terry Project Podcast #1: Back-to-School Special, Part 1 and 2.

We’d like to introduce a new project Terry has undertaken this year, the Terry Project Podcast.

The Terry Project Podcast is a radio show to be broadcast on CiTR 101.9FM at UBC and available on iTunes. Hosted by myself, with members of the Terry project–professors Fox, Ng, and Sens–as frequent guests, the podcast convenes a round-table to discuss developments in the global issues that Terry cares about. By inviting prominent academics, student leaders, activists, and alumni, we hope to create interesting discussions between between the arts and the sciences, between students and their professors, and between academia and the wider community.

Our first episode is a two part episode, and will focus on issues of academia. Part one is a roundtable discussion with Professors Allen Sens, Dave Ng, Rob Vanwynsberghe, and Craig Riddell:

Part two features one-on-one interview with the President and Vice-Chancellor of UBC, Professor Stephen Toope:

Apologies for the technical difficulties that forced this episode to come out so late. There are some awkward cuts in the first episode because the CiTR computers crashed and we were forced to work with a portable mic, which was less than ideal.

For subsequent episodes, please check back on the blog, and subscribe on iTunes.
