In the midst of a Humanitarian Crisis?

UBC Insiders has a put together a great summary of the the-president-of-the-AMS-just-sent-a-complaint-about-tuition-at-UBC-to-the-United-Nations debacle.  If you don’t know what I’m talking about, do check this Vancouver Sun article out.

Also, from Social Capital:

Emergency Meeting – Saturday November 28th @ 5pm

If you haven’t heard already, there’s going to be an emergency meeting of the AMS Council tomorrow to discuss this issue, and to request the resignation of AMS President Blake Frederick, and AMS VP External Tim Chu.

When: Saturday November 28th, 5:00pm
Where: SUB 206, AMS Council Chambers (top floor near SUB Ballroom) HEBB THEATRE

Anyone who’s interested is encouraged to attend and voice your opinions. Given what we’ve already heard from the student body over the past two days, the discussion will certainly be spirited, to say the least.

The meeting agenda is here.

You can RSVP (more than 300 people have signed up already) on Facebook here.
