Researchers Slingin’ Dope to Animated Mice – or – Fun ways to teach kids about their brains on drugs

this is fun

Researchers at the University of Utah have put together a fun, interactive animation to teach users about, “The physiology of the high.” There are seven stoner mice to choose from, all displaying what you might consider to be cliche characteristics for the particular drug: hand-rubbing paranoid coke heads, writhing and dancing ecstacy users, and a mouse that can’t seem to get over its hand (LSD).

I also recommend Cerebral Commando – Your Mission: keep the synapse in a state of homeostasis.

On a side note, I wonder if the 15 year old me would be at all interested in this – probably not.
