Old MacDonald Had a Farm, so Does UBC

The Trek to the farm may be long, but on a nice fall sunny day, when the wind is blowing and the leaves are falling, hop on your bike or go for a walk to the South Side of campus and discover this unknown world. Amidst construction sites for new condos and mysterious research centre, the UBC farm stands in all its glory. There’s over 200 varieties of fruits and vegetables grown on this 24 hectares site for sale at the Saturday farm market from 9am-1pm.

And make sure to check out FARMADE on Friday September 21, 2007 from 3:00pm – 7:00pm. There will be live bands, a corn roast, a beer garden and a BBQ. It’s time for some good old farm party!
