A Journey of Purpose: From Refugee Camp to University | Rhoda Philip | TEDxTerryTalks

Rhoda was born in a displaced peoples’ camp and at the age of 9 was moved to one of the world’s largest refugee camps (Kakuma). Here, she shares her own story of how she took education as a ship to sail across oceans from the refugee camp to a university campus.

Rhoda Philip is currently at the University of British Columbia, studying business and computer science.
