Message from the AUS, Brian Platt

Arts students: have you voted in the AMS Referendum yet? This is a very important vote that will determine the future of the UPass program, the fees you pay to your student society, the bylaws which govern your student society, and the AMS’s tuition policy.

The Arts Undergraduate Society voted to officially endorse this referendum and to encourage all Arts students to vote YES on the fee and bylaw questions. Our student society has not raised its basic fee in 30 years and the fee has not been tied to inflation; if this fee referendum does not pass, the AMS will be forced to cut over $300,000 from its budget.

More information and details on how to vote can be found at http://voteams.ca/referendum/. If you have any questions about the motion adopted by the Arts Undergraduate Society, please contact us at the email below.
