A Q&A with Bill McKibben, and Occupy Vancouver

This year’s first Terry Global Speakers Series speaker, Bill McKibben, will be visiting Occupy Vancouver with Gordon Katic and Sam Fenn of The Terry Project Podcast, less than 12 hours after police began clearing out Occupy Wall Street. Bill vocally supported #OWS, going so far as to suggest his pipeline victory couldn’t have happened without it. Join us at 9PM at the VAG, Tuesday night.

In addition, we’re having a Q&A with Bill McKibben in the Liu Institute, at 10:30AM on Wednesday. The venue is a 106 person capacity. This much smaller event will bring together campus leaders of the sustainability movement, both students and faculty. All questions will be submitted and voted on through our Google Moderator page. There are very few tickets remaining — we’ve just opened it up to the public to fill those remaining seats. If you’d like to attend, you’ll need to get a ticket from our Eventbrite page.
