The Wall Exchange presents “The Everywhere War”
The WALL EXCHANGE – Join the Conversation – presents Derek Gregory, award-winning political geographer and writer. Dr. Gregory is considered one of a small group of geographers in the world who have managed to combine major research breakthroughs over a sustained period with the ability to reach out to influence a host of disciplines and public discussions in a fundamental way.
Dr. Gregory will speak on what he calls “The Everywhere War,” that is, the multiplicity of late modern wars that have sprung up in the shadows of 9/11 and can occur anywhere. Taken together, they have much to tell us about the future of violence, security and everyday life. His talk will be followed by a moderated question period. The public is invited to join the conversation.
