International Student Energy Summit
There is an International energy conference coming to town.
The International Student Energy Summit (ISES) is a global forum that focuses on sustainable resource management and the role that students will play in defining the future of energy development. ISES targets international, multidisciplinary post secondary students in undergraduate and graduate studies interested in energy.
The inaugural ISES was hosted in Calgary, AB in June 2009 and brought together over 400 students and business leaders from 25 countries. ISES 2011: Vancouver will be big as it builds on the success of the 2009 event. With the shock the oil industry is currently experiencing, the effect on the entire world of energy has been substantial. There has never been a more important time to get involved in help creating a sustainable future for this planet.
The ISES 2011 team is currently hiring management level positions. They are looking for:
– Vice Chair
– Program Director
– Finance Director
– Marketing Director
– Hospitality and Social Event Director
– Sponsorship Director
– Website Manager
