Freakishly big atrium in need of interesting booths

O.K. So the October 3rd TEDxTerry talks is looming large, and we’ll soon be announcing our speakers. We’ve got a full house, but are starting to collect names for the waitlist which inevitably will be used (i.e. if you want to come but don’t have a ticket – sign up on the waitlist and wait up for an announcement coming up in the next few days).

Also, we have access to one of the LARGEST FREAKING ROOMS in the whole of the UBC campus (the East Atrium in the Life Science Centre), and we figured it’s a prime space for student groups and organizations to “exhibit.”

Soooo… If you’re interested in setting up a booth at the conference and take advantage of interacting with the crowd of 350 or so enthused participants, then do send on an email to terrytalks@gmail.com with ATRIUM REQUEST as the subject heading. Basically, we just suggest that your booth is pretty much theft-risk free so that the folks manning the booths can also attend the talks (i.e. the booth is low maintenance enough that things can be left there – or easily transportable – during the talks).
