Interested in learning engagement across the faculties? If so, You might enjoy planning a delightful conference called CLASS. The people are great, the conference sounds intriguing, and it’ll all happen on October 24th 2009 during UBC’s Celebrate Learning Week. Deadline for application is May 29th 2009. The Conference for Learning and Academic Student Success conference, formerly known as the “Get Learnt Conference” is a new student-led initiative fostering academic transitions and learning engagements for first year students across all faculties. Currently, we are recruiting students as part of the planning team. There are a number of director positions available and those interested can visit www.glc.ubc.ca regarding position description and information on the application process.
