Public Seminar! – “How We Treat the Atmosphere Like a Sewer”

My department’s very own Prof. Douw Steyn will be addressing the Vancouver Institute this Saturday (Mar 29), at 8:15pm in Instructional Hall 2 of Woodward Instructional Resource Center (directions here). Prof Steyn is an atmospheric scientist in the department of Earth and Ocean Science at UBC, whose research (among other things) focuses on modeling and measuring regional scale air pollution. His talk is titled, “Air Pollution: How We Treat the Atmosphere Like a Sewer”.

It should be an excellent seminar!
