Random Sampling of The Intersciences -or- I’m Too Busy to Write About the Green Living Show, so Read These Instead
The Green Living Show yesterday was alright. There were some interesting booths, useless booths, a few well informed booth attendees, and many company puppets. Oh, and free food. As my girlfriend put, out of 10 it was a 6.5, but conventions can only get a 7.5 on any given person’s fun scale.
More to come later, but for now, here are some interesting articles I stumbled across:
- Using waves to power boats: who needs wind!
- Andrew Revkin on Cold Weather in a Warming Climate: why a cold winter doesn’t mean the world isn’t warming
- Stop washing your hair, save the planet? No…not really.
- Fiber made out of viruses?
