My Apartment Building is Going Greener

…one step at a time. Speaking of clothes dryers, no longer do the laundry room lights remain on all night and day. What’s interesting is, it took a simple gesture by one of my building-mates:

Apartment light switch

I first noticed the sticker about 3-4 months ago, and since then every time I go downstairs there is no longer a light glowing from beneath the pea-green door welcoming you to the deep bellows of the building – only the loud humming of the hot water heater, and a waft of garbage and old fish from someone’s trip to the dumpster earlier that day.

If you’re reading this good samaritan, thank you!
