are we?
always under

construction
and repair
grey city
can’t escape?
the concrete
paved roads
and the traffic
and the noise
and the litter		 contrast
with nature
which was
(sometimes)
buried or
covered
when we laid
foundations?
of concrete
cold hard grey
and when we
stretched out
spanning wires
and constructed
tall structures
over our heads?
street signs
directionality
where are we
now going?
