Game on folks. Our first Speaker Series event is confirmed!

I can’t quite describe the joy I feel in writing this post. We’ve been working this summer on organising the first speaker for the Terry Speaker Series, and we finally have details we can release!

Are you ready?

Are you sitting down?

*cue music and drumroll*…

It’s Ken Robinson!

To fully savour how truly amazing this news is, take a break from reading this post and check out his fabulous TED talk on “Schools Killing Creativity”

Also watch this wonderful interview with Riz Khan from Sept 08. It’s in two parts and well worth a watch.

Speaking of September, that’s precisely when Sir Ken will be in town. His talk on campus is scheduled for Sept 30th 2009. As ticket information becomes available, we’ll be sure to update you here.

And now dear readers, I’m off to do a celebratory dance.
