CiTR Fundrive: Support Local, Independent Radio!

This week, UBC’s campus radio station, CiTR 101.9FM is holding its annual Fundrive. Once a year, CiTR asks UBC students and radio fans everywhere to support their programming by making a small donation. This year, they are aiming to raise $35,000 to–amongst other things–move the station into UBC’s new Student Union Building. If you are a fan of The Terry Project on CiTR, Nardwuar the Human Serviette, The Extraenvironmentalist, Duncan’s Donuts or any of the other great shows that CiTR produces, please throw a few bucks their way by following this link.

CiTR is a free-form station. That means that its DJ’s aren’t pressured into playing commercial music (think Blurred Lines every 20 minutes) or to create politically safe content. Please support local, independent radio!

You can also listen to Sam, Gordon and CJ play clips from their last year of programming and talk about how important CiTR is to them in this special bonus edition of The Terry Project on CiTR.
