TEDxTT: “Being Sincere in an Era of Digital Creation,” Stefana Fratila

In this thought provoking talk, Stefana Fratila, a 4th year UBC Political Science student, explores the concepts of sincerity and enchantment in the context of Web 2.0. In doing so, she also asks the audience to think more deeply about their role, not just as internet users, but as internet participants and creators, as a conduit to further define their identity and place in the world.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
