The Terry Project Podcast #18: Kim Campbell

This week on the podcast, I speak to Canada’s first and only female Prime Minister, Kim Campbell. In this one-on-one interview, I asked her about her experience studying political science and how gender politics figured into her early political career. Additionally, she reflected on her infamous 1993 election campaign (including the controversial Chretien attack ad), and I asked her how she feels about Brian Mulroney. We conclude by discussing the Canadian Conservative Party of today, and she leaves us with some advice for recent college graduates.

Note: As you might have noticed, we haven’t followed our regular 60 minute radio documentary format for a few episodes. We are on something of a final exam/Christmas break, so we are airing some things that take less work. However, we will back in January with the old format.
