Velocity 2012 wraps up today

For the  past week, Vancouver has been hosting the world’s largest cycling conference. Velocity 2012 meant that the all the big-names in urban planning, public transportation were in town. What a perfect opportunity to plug in a little promo for Vancouver’s soon-to-be-launched bike-share system. The conference delegates had access to 600 Bixi bikes.  Last night, I spotted some outside the Naam. Good to know that the delegates had an authentic Vancouver experience- biking to the Naam for dinner! As this is the first time that Velocity has been held in North America, I hope that Vancouver has been a great host to the mostly European cycling advocates, politicians, and urban planners. Keep it wheel.
