Vancouver Is Awesome – Donor Drive

VIAbanner

Have you read Vancouver is Awesome? If not, go read it.

I’ll wait. Take your time, explore the website, check out the interviews with Dan Mangan, George Stroumboulopoulos, or Douglas Coupland.  Big fan of dogs?  They do dogs, they do Japadogs, and most other things that make Vancouver unique.

So please, enjoy, I’ll even go re-heat my coffee and wait for you. Happy? Read? Excited?

Here’s the deal.

VIA was recently turned into an official non-profit organization with one simple goal:

A community-based non profit organization dedicated to the study, promotion, and preservation of Vancouver arts and culture, with a positive spin.

Of course, as a non-profit, they need money from folks like you and me.  So, warm up to VIA.  Contact their wonderful staff and tell them how awesome you think they are.  Become a VIA Facebook fan and get your in on what makes Vancouver Awesome as it happens.  Give whatever you can, and help VIA continue to be A for the following year.

Oh, right, there are also prizes given out to donors.  Like a VW Mini for a weekend.  A freaking Mini!

How to donate: follow the instructions on VIA’s donor drive (link)
