Invisible Children, an organization “motivated by the unseen war in Northern Uganda”, is coming to Canada for the first time ever in their fall 2008 road tour. The organization was created by 3 young filmmakers “to use the power of stories to change lives around the world.” An inspiring looking documentary is being shown at UBC this Thursday. Here are the details:

Date: October 30, 2008
Time: 7:30pm-9:00pm
Location: UBC @ Wood 6

Come be the first to see IC’s new documentary, “GO!”, a film that follows a group of students’ journey to Uganda that exposes them to a war that has been raging for over 23 years. What these students discover changes their lives forever.

How far would you go for change?
How far would you go for peace?
How far would you go to make a difference?
How far would you go?

Following the screening, there will be an opportunity to speak with the roadies and find out what more you can do to help end the war in Northern Uganda.
