Share Your Student Experience with the B.C. Government

Here is a great opportunity to share your experience as a university student in British Columbia and how you would like to see that experience change.

The Ministry of Advanced Education wants to know what it’s like to be a post-secondary student in BC.

On January 15-16, 2008, the Ministry will host a System Leadership Roundtable, which will bring together students, presidents and board chairs from BC’s post-secondary institutions. Students will engage in a dialogue about their experience in the post-secondary system in B.C., as well as listen to keynote presentations and participate in breakout sessions.

The Roundtable is being held at the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue in Vancouver. All expenses, including travel, accommodation and meals, will be covered for students who attend the event.

You’re invited to submit your name to be part of this event. Two students will be randomly chosen from each institution from the names submitted.

If you are interested in attending the event, please send your name and the name of your school to Campus2020@gov.bc.ca by December 19th. If you are chosen to attend, you will be notified by December 21st.

If you have questions about the Roundtable, please email Elizabeth.Fosdick@gov.bc.ca.
